1. What are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website you visit. They allow the site to remember information about your visit, such as language preference or login state.
2. Cookies We Use
Strictly necessary cookies: Used for session management (account login), to remember your locale/language preference, and to maintain the integrity of in-progress swaps across page navigation. These cannot be disabled without breaking the Service.
Functional cookies: Used to remember UI preferences (theme, world-theme selection, accordion state on the FAQ). Disabling these does not break the Service but resets preferences each visit.
Analytics cookies: Google Analytics (Google LLC) sets cookies named _ga and _ga_<id> to count visits and measure how pages are used. You can block them in your browser, or with Google's opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, without affecting the Service. PostHog, our product analytics, is configured to set no cookies and to store nothing on your device.
Cambio does NOT use: advertising cookies, retargeting cookies, or cookies that build a profile of you across other sites.
3. Managing Cookies
You can configure your browser to refuse all cookies or to alert you when a cookie is set. Refusing strictly-necessary cookies will prevent you from creating an account or completing a swap that requires multi-step navigation.
You can clear cookies stored on your device at any time through your browser's settings.
4. Changes to This Policy
If we materially change the cookies we use, we will update this policy and the effective date at the top of the page. We will not introduce advertising or third-party tracking cookies without a clear notice in the homepage banner.
